My Knowledge Tree!

1)I have participated in many projects: Business Ethics, Mondialogo, Student Companies.
As the participant of ‘Student Companies’ project, I represented the student company established within the school # 220.
In summer 2008 I had been selected for the ‘Student Internship Program’ among eight the most successful JAA students and I got a chance to work as an intern in StatoilHydro Azerbaijan.
During a week, I learned new skills necessary for my future career.
I’m a punctual and hardworking person, so this experience was the very valuable for me.
I always participate in forum debates and write my opinion about a particular theme.
I adore nature so in summer I always travel to the beautiful regions of Azerbaijan.
Throughout my Life, i hope to aim to the highest I can. Not only academically, but also socially and psychologically. My family and friends are a big part of my life; thus, without their support, I would have never gotten this far.

2)As I mentioned before, for me the most interesting thing is to learn and to share what I’ve learnt with internet users. Google always guides me in finding new information and then placing them in Azeri portals. I’m also a Facebook user; Facebook and Messenger great ways to keep touch with friends.
Beside Azerbaijani literature, I’m interested in foreign literature. The one that I’m reading now is “Kite Runner” by Khaled Husseini; I love reading very much. I like to watch movies also; From our national movies I watched “Arshin Mal Alan”, “O olmasin bu olsun”, comedy film “Mehelle”. I always watch American movies in English; they are very useful in improving my language skill. I also like to play computer games in my free time. My favorite games are “Need for Speed Most Wanted”, “GTA” and “Sims”.

3) Schools in Baku are not as advanced as in foreign countries, so we do not have many opportunities to develop our skills and discover new talents . Mostly everything is very strict and academic, and the teacher never leaves space for fun activities. Fun doesn’t mean that it should involve screaming, laughing, and yelling; it can be educational yet fun at the same time. These develop strong skills that we do not even realize we have. We don’t use projector in our lessons to do presentations and to pass on information that will be interesting for students. If we did, we would have more interest in learning.
I believe that if I go to America and learn about all of the clubs and organizations, I can come home and tell my teachers about it. This would be a great improvement because we can establish new clubs and groups at our school that will develop and discover the leadership skills of our students. I think that way, not only the students, but the teachers can have fun too!
4) I want people to know about Azerbaijan. Because it’s a small country, many people do not know about it, so by telling people about it, I would be happy to have done something for my homeland. I could tell them about our culture, cuisine, holidays, our schools, our teens, our cities, our music. I hope there are going to be many teens that would be interested in Azerbaijan. I could even teach them how to cook our food. Yet not only can I contribute to them, but we can also be friends.
